Gennaro Carotenuto (PhD in history, University of Valencia), is teacher of World History and History of journalism and new media in the University of Macerata, and University Bocconi, Milan, in Italia. He was visiting professor in universities of Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Tunisia and visiting researcher in the Institut des Hautes Etudes de l’Amérique latine of the Paris3 University (Sorbonne Nouvelle).
Journalist, since 1997 was correspondent from Europe and the Middle East for the Uruguayan weekly Brecha and wrotes as international analyst in several newspapers including La Jornada of Mexico City, La Stampa of Turín, El País of Madrid. Since 1998 he is regularly invited as expert on the Italian national radio, RAI and the Swiss Radio.
